Worship Opportunities

“God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.” John 4:24

The core of our life is the worship that we give to the Lord. This worship is the foundation of the rest of the Discipleship Pathway. At Christ the King, there are many ways that we engage in worship. First and foremost is our participation in the Mass. However, we also have opportunities to worship the Lord in Adoration and at Upper Room praise and worship. Our goal is to joyfully worship the Lord in all that we do.

Mass

The source and summit of our faith is the celebration of the Eucharist. We invite you to join us as we celebrate the Mass!

Adoration Chapel

“Adoration is the first attitude of man acknowledging that he is a creature before his Creator. It exalts the greatness of the Lord who made us and the almighty power of the Savior who sets us free from evil” (Catechism of the Catholic Church, 2628).

Thanks to the commitment and devotion of many parishioners and others in the area, we are extremely blessed to have a Chapel for Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration.

Upper Room

A time of praise and worship on 2nd and 4th Fridays of the month where all are welcome to praise and worship Our Lord with song, listen to Him, and exercise the charismatic gifts. Personal prayer ministry is also available on some Fridays. To learn more about Upper Room and Prayer Ministry, please visit Upper Room.

Women’s Prayer Meetings

We handle life better when we let God handle our life. Isn’t that becoming very real this year?? The Monthly Women’s Prayer Meetings are resuming, but in a slightly different format. They will be online only for the next months. To receive an email invitation (Zoom link) for the prayer meeting, email Dorothy.

Music/Creative Ministry

Christ the King exists to foster joyful worship of God. One of the main ways that we do that is through our Music Ministry. If you play an instrument, love to sing, or have a mind for the technical aspect of music and sound, consider joining the liturgy team! We’d love to help you use your gifts.
